Mario and Luigi back from their adventure, start to realize that spike hired two new plumbers who are giving the Mario brothers a bad name and taking their customers away the imposter using Luigi’s name sabotages the job the one using Mario’s name is draining bank accounts and price gouging but everybody is so hypnotized by imposter Luigi's dance moves that they don’t do anything about the corruption but Luigi is not buying it. He confronts the imposter, calling him a bad Luigi and that he should be referred to as a Waluigi. Mario would reply yeah and your brother should be called Wario! Wario said fine call me wario, but we are not brothers. Wario replied we are merely acquaintances, so out of the way losers! Waluigi replied yeah we can do anything better than you You’re the impostors not us! Mario and Luigi return home meanwhile king boo passed through the field, warp pipe to the mushroom kingdom And snuck into Brooklyn and kidnapped a baby Yoshi taking him to a haunted mansion. Meanwhile, a flower shop owner, who cares for animals witnesses the kidnapping. Find the Mario brothers and asks them for help thinking the animal is from the mushroom kingdom Luigi is struck with infatuation and develop a crush at first sight Mario storms off ahead before Daisy could say anything more she grabs Luigi by the hand and rushes after Mario for he doesn’t know what he’s getting into. Daisy takes Luigi to the towns professor professor Egad To help equipped them with ghost catching vacuums Mario gets captured by king boo once Luigi and daisy make it inside the door grows shut with vines and apple fruit they look around and capture a few boos Luigi scared yet tries talking to Daisy apologizing for being slow because he think she is pretty. Wario and Waluigi finding out about the Yoshi egg and decide they want to capture the Yoshi and put it in the zoo to make money waluigi gets a vacuum from Egadd or steal that from him Wario rammed open the door to the mansion, but daisy and Luigi didn’t hear because they were well inside the mansion By the end Waluigi puts his dance Hipnosis on king boo Luigi quickly captured king boo with Waluigi's empty vacuum bag send king boo to Egad's lab for containment daisy and Luigi work together with Wario and Waluigi to get out of the spooky mansion the whole ordeal scared Yoshi he put himself back in his egg but when rescued he hatches sees Luigi and calls him Mama Luigi? In front of Mario and everybody else Daisy starts laughing Luigi says Daisy that’s not funny then Yoshi she says papa Daisy? Then everybody starts laughing. Luigi is praised for his heroism and is gifted a new mansion on the same spot after they tear down the old one. Then Wario and Waluigi vanished in the commotion spike letting them into the house where the mushroom kingdom pipe is located where spike seen king boo carry the egg out from. Daisy stone on her necklace starts glowing while she’s carrying baby green Yoshi dayzee’s in shock says I had this all my life and now it’s doing while I’m holding this Yoshi could it mean maybe I came from the mushroom kingdom? Daisy decides to take Yoshi home and to visit with Peach to find out more about her past. Luigi was sad, but said that he and Mario would come and visit. Then the last teaser scene for a third movie is at Peach's castle, where Daisy is seen entering it cuts off to show Bowser in the containment jar a toad says I’ll have you free in a moment pulls off a handkerchief and turns into Bowser Junior!
